A. Rodman Barber, MD

Dr. Barber completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and went to medical school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He completed his postgraduate training at University of California, Davis and Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco. This included his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He then returned to University of California, Davis to complete his fellowship in Endocrinology. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Barber joined an Endocrinology practice in Santa Rosa, California from 1990 to 1999. In 1999 he and his family relocated to Hickory where he joined Piedmont Endocrinology. He enjoys biking, snow and water skiing.




Venkatarama S. Donepudi, MD

Venkatarama S. Donepudi, MD

Dr. Donepudi completed his undergraduate studies at University of Akron and attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in the British West Indies. He completed his postgraduate training at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. This included his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He then went to Indiana University to complete his fellowship in Endocrinology. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Donepudi joined Piedmont Endocrinology in 2003. He enjoys spending time with his family and doing home repair projects.

Aaron W. Barton, MD

Dr. Barton completed his undergraduate studies at St. Louis University and went to medical school at the AUC School of Medicine, Netherland Antilles. He completed his postgraduate training at Morehouse University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA. This included his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. His fellowship in Endocrinology was completed at Tulane University. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Barton joined Piedmont Endocrinology in 2024.




Ben Bullard PA-C

Ben Bullard PA-C

Ben completed his undergraduate studies at Western Carolina University in Emergency Medical Care. He went on to complete the Physician Assistant program at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University. He has practiced in both a clinical practice and as a hospitalist in several medical centers. Ben joined Piedmont Endocrinology in 2017, where he will concentrate his experience in endocrinology. He enjoys outdoor activities, farming and spending time with his family.
